Whether you’re looking for a fun day trip from Roanoke, Charlottesville or Blacksburg or a weekend away from gridlock in Washington, Richmond or Hampton Roads, Chateau Morrisette has your wine, food and music cravings covered this summer.
The winery, located in Floyd County, is offering everything from sophisticated soirées to down-home music and BBQ over the next several months and you’re invited to attend.
You can kick-off the summer with a romantic weekend for two at the winery’s annual Winemaker’s Dinner on Sunday, May 25th. The 7-course dinner, which is paired with select Chateau Morrisette wines, also includes everything from Chantrelle crusted Filet Mignon with Bordelaise sauce and roasted red pepper & Scallop Risotto to Shallot confit with Pont-l’Evêque. Fancy!
On June 20, couples can return to the winery for it’s Mid-Summer Masquerade Ball. According to Chateau Morrisette, “This black tie affair will have you greeted on the red carpet, saluted with a champagne fountain and filled up with delicious cuisine created by our award winning chef.”
